Dress Code
It is expected that Members, their family, and their guests will be suitably and neatly attired at all times while on all Club premises. Offenders, including guests, will be subject to denied service and/or privileges by our professional and management staff. The Board of Governors feels proper and appropriate dress is a sign of respect for the Club and your fellow members, and requests your cooperation in observing the Dress Code for yourselves, your family, and your guests.
Terrace
- Evenings: Long pants are required for men (over 13 years old).
- Jackets are optional.
- At other times: Appropriate "club casual" attire may be worn .
Queen Anne Room
- Saturday evenings: Jacket and long pants are required for men (ties no longer required).
Tap Room/Bar/Brickery/South Terrace - Appropriate "club casual" attire may be worn.
Club casual attire for gentlemen is collared shirts and pants or dress shorts. Shirttails should be tucked in and belts worn. Men may wear dress sandals during the day only, no flip flops. Gentlemen must remove hats upon entering the clubhouse. Proper attire for women includes dresses, sundresses, skirts, pants and Bermuda-length shorts. Dresses and skirts should be finger-tip length long. Open midriffs are not permitted. Dresses, blouses, and tops without collar and/or sleeves may be worn. Dress sandals are permitted.
Lunch: Members and their guests may also wear golf or tennis shoes and tennis attire on the Terrace, in the Tap Room, and in the Bar during lunch service.
Unacceptable Attire: Excluded at all times from Clubhouse premises are denim in any form (including jackets), souvenir and plain tee shirts, men’s tank tops, yoga pants, leggings, open midriffs, very short shorts or skirts, cargo pants or shorts, work out clothes/sweatsuits/joggers/hoodies (shirts, pants or shorts), bare feet or bathing attire (bathing suits, flip-flops, sport sandals or shower slides). Tennis attire and athletic shoes may not be worn in the Clubhouse dining rooms or during the evening in the Bar or on the Terrace, with the exception of scheduled post event buffets. Gentlemen must remove sport hats, including baseball hats and visors, before entering the Clubhouse.

Restaurant Minimum
A minimum restaurant charge of $165.00 will be applied for the months of March/April through December. This charge applies to food purchases served in the Clubhouse, including Bar Dining. Beverage purchases (including those in the Bar), as well as Midway items, Carry-Out, Beach Snack Bar, and Carriage House purchases, do not count toward the minimum.
Please note that food and beverage purchases associated with all member events and club functions (such as Easter, Mother’s Day, Family Day, Santa Party, and similar events) do not count toward the minimum.
The minimum is staggered as follows:
Members with last names beginning A–L: 1st through the 31st of each month.
Members with last names beginning M–Z: 16th through the 15th of each month.
Please note that food and beverage purchases associated with all member events and club functions (such as Easter, Mother’s Day, Family Day, Santa Party, and similar events) do not count toward the minimum.

Catering
Arrangement for carry-out food service may be made for home parties, exclusive of a la carte items. Contact the Manager at least ten days in advance for this service.
Private Parties
The Clubhouse facilities are available for private parties, weddings, etc., to Members and their immediate families. They are also available to outside guest groups under sponsorship of a Member and approval of the Chairman of the House Committee. Reservations for use of sports facilities must be cleared with the appropriate committee. Since these functions are encouraged to the extent that they do not interfere with the normal operations of the Club, it will be appreciated if arrangements are made as far in advance as possible. The Manager will be pleased to handle all of the details.
